കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കണ്ടല് പഠനം - പ്രധാന കണ്ടെത്തലുകള്
കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കണ്ടലുകളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനം പൂര്ത്തിയായി. വീഡിയോ എഡിറ്റിംഗ് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്രധാന കണ്ടെത്തലുകള് താഴെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
1 . സര്ക്കാര് കണക്കില് കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയില് 59 ഹെക്ടര് കണ്ടല് കാടുകളെ ഉള്ളു എന്ന മുന് ധാരണ ശരിയല്ല. ഏറ്റവും ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 100 ഹെക്ടര് കണ്ടല് കാടുകള് എങ്കിലും കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയില് ഉണ്ട് .
2. കേരളത്തില് കണ്ടുവരുന്ന 15 ഇനം യഥാര്ത്ഥ കണ്ടലുകളില് 11 ഇനങ്ങള് കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയില് കണ്ടെത്താന് കഴിഞ്ഞു.

ഓച്ചിറ മേഖലാ കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ നേത്യത്വത്തില് മൊബൈല് ഫോണിന്റെ ദുരുപയോഗം എന്ന വിഷയത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് 10.03.2010ന് കാട്ടില് കടവ് പ്രകാശം വായനശാലാ ഹാളില് വച്ച് സെമിനാര് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. വിജിലന്സ് സി.ഐ. ശ്രീ.നസീം വിഷയം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.

കേരള ശാസ്ത്ര സാഹിത്യ പരിഷത്, ഓച്ചിറ മേഖലാ കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില് ശബ്ദമലിനീകരണത്തിനെതിരെ ഓച്ചിറ ടൌണില് 2010 മാര്ച്ച് 5ന് പ്രകടനവും യോഗവും നടത്തി.

Kerala Sathra sahithya parishad Oachira Mekhala committe is organising an open seminar about the development of National hiway from Cherthal to Kazhakuttam titled "Desiyapatha BOT pathayo?Swakarya pathayo.?" at 4 pm on saturday 20.03.2010 at Vavvakvu Jn., in National hiway. Keeping its tradition, the Karunagappally Mekhala of KSSP has again emerged as the Best Mekhala in collecting annual subscription orders as part of the ongoing Magazine Campaign Programme. They have crossed the Magic figure of 1000 copies and the spree still continues. This unbeatable victory is achieved while all they are in the busy work of making the State Cader of KSSP 2009 a succes by selling KSSP books for Rupees 3 lakhs, and other KSSP products like HOTBOX, Samatha products, etc...
